Troubleshooting unexpected behavior

Periodically a user may encounter unusual behavior within their Internet Explorer connection with AvidInvoice. Problems that are seen on one machine that are not consistent or cannot be duplicated from another workstation may be an indication of problems with the user’s browser application or the Adobe Reader installation.

AvidInvoice minimal System requirements

ins00014: AvidXchange is a Software as a Service (SaaS) model company. It manages and delivers an application connection to many customers from a hosted data center over the Internet. Applications and data are maintained and hosted from our own servers with clients connecting via an Internet browser application. Microsoft’s Internet Explorer is currently the only supported browser application. (Results may differ from other browser displays).

Processing is primarily done at the server, not the client. However, the AvidInvoice users’ local machine and network configurations do have direct impact on performance. Read the rest of this entry »
